August update - Solar panel price increases, free express shipment and extended best price guarantee

Despite the vacation period, August is a month with lots of news from Robinsun. Today we have 3 announcements to make. Solar panels are increasing in price very soon. We have launched free express shipments to avoid delays. And we extend our best price guarantee.

Solar panel price increases

Solar panel manufacturers have announced price increases. This is due to new tariffs and regulations, the end of China’s reduced export tax, higher raw material costs like polysilicon, and strong demand in Europe. These factors are raising production and import costs, which directly impact the price of panels and solar kits. These changes have already started and will continue over the summer. As a result of this market situation, our prices have to increase our solar kit and panel prices starting from 21.08.2025.

Free express shipping until the end of August

In July, we noticed that summer demand was causing shipment delays with all our shipment companies. Shipments with regular free shipment started to run into unacceptable delays. To provide the best possible service and avoid customer frustration, we introduced free express shipping on all orders in continental Spain and Portugal some weeks ago. We’re now extending this initiative until 31.08.2025 to do everything we can to meet expectations and deliver your kit quickly. Customer deliveries always face delays in summer, but this year seems to have hit particularly bad.

Best price guarantee extended

Last year, we launched our best price guarantee to ensure our customers always pay the lowest price for their solar kit, and we are now renewing the initiative, extending it to storage systems.

Pricing for solar kits and storage can be confusing due to hidden costs, some sellers  not respecting cross-border VAT rules, or ignoring manufacturer price guidance. We also noticed some unauthorised sellers on the market. With our guarantee, you can contact us if you find a comparable plugin solar kit or storage system at a lower price. We’ll check it and compare if for you:

• Does it have the same amount of panels and production in Wp? Are these panels of comparable quality and vendor?
• Does it have a comparably powerful microinverter, with the same features and quality?
• Does it include the same accessories like cables or mounts?
• In the case of storage systems, is it the same model as sold by us?
• Is the shipment price included?
• Is the applicable VAT included?

If a Robinsun plugin kit is truly comparable with another seller, or somebody sells the same storage system at a lower price, we will match this price and sell you our kit or storage system at the same you found.The price we refer to is the final end customer price to be paid in full and at once, incl. VAT, without the cost of any purchase financing. This guarantee refers to plugin kits and storage systems sold online only.
